National Disabled Veterans - Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass Village, CO

9/11 Annual Day of Remembrance

The Aspen Fire Department hosts an Annual Day of Remembrance on September 11, honoring the lives lost and the heroes who responded that day. The Aspen Fire Honor Guard proudly presents the colors at the beginning and conclusion of this one-hour ceremony, which begins at 12:00 PM. The event traditionally features a flyover by WWII planes, followed by musical tributes, a prayer, guest speakers, and a closing reflection. This solemn gathering brings the community together in remembrance, unity, and gratitude.
